Seems like lots of us enjoy our music here at Iceshanty.

Was sittin thinkin, an thought it would pretty cool if anyone be interested in posting some of their favorite players to what would make their own "Supergroup"?
.....There are and were so many great players an vocalists from so many genres of music out there, to pinpoint one as the best would be impossible.
It really for the most part, comes down to personal preference.
Should be really interesting and entertaining to see what y'all bring together for your very own "Supergroup."
I'll start out with one, with some of my favorite of all time, and videos of them. Needless to say....I have alot out there that I like alot, and this is just a few that I like the most....Well, here we go.....I'm gonna go with 1 drummer, 1 bassist, 2 lead guitar, and a vocalist.

I'll start with the rhythm section of my "Supergroup".....

Bass...Steve Harris, Iron Maiden
Guitar...Ted Nugent
Vocals...Steven Pearcy, RATT

I think that would be a good combo, but there are alot more...

So many good vocalists...Larry, never was a huge fan of Queensryche, but Tate sure can sing, and Megadeth's Mustaine is another top choice...The way he snarls is just EVIL...

As much as I like Mustaine...by no means I wish he left,....it was Cliff Burton that was the backbone of their earlier stuff. Mustaine wrote most of their early stuff too, from what I remember. Personally, I'm not crazy about anything Metalica did after "Master of Puppets." That was the tour they were on when Cliff died.

That had to be a blast, Mroy! Uncle Ted to me, is most definitely the best rock personality/celebrity there is. Plus, his music rocks!
There is literally no celeb that does more good things with his time and money, than him.

As long as it isn't rap, hip-hop or bubble gum pop we're down with it!

When it comes to the punk scene....I'm a huge fan of Iggy Pop. I like Henry Rollins, Mc5, Social Distortion, Ramones, The Clash, Sex Pistols etc.
Just try to refrain from anything with f-bombs. The mods will be down on us like skeeters in the summertime in a mudswamp in Alabama!
