I'm helping to organize a Kid's IceFishing Day to be held from 9-3 this Saturday (02/22) on Green Glade at Deep Creek Lake. We will be holding workshops on ice safety and fishing methods. There will be plenty of fun and food there for all kids and adults in attendance. There will be ice rod/reel combos and fishing tackle handouts to the first 30 kids in attendance (prior registration required).
The event is to be held at the Thousand Acres Golf Course grounds. For detailed directions use Mapquest with the address as: 200 South Shore Point Road, Swanton, MD 21561. Access by this means is only applicable for this event.
You can PM me to register prior to 5pm on Friday 02/21. All kids/adults interested in learning about the sport of icefishing are welcome.
This is being listed on another Deep Creek Lake fishing website already. We're just looking for a few more anglers to enjoy the day with us.
