Remote Fishing
« on: Jan 23, 2006, 01:17 AM »
I was wondering if anyone has been to any remote lakes in the Interior or anywhere else where the fishing has been good/not so good?
If you don't want everyone and there uncle to know, you can IM me and it will not go public   I have particular interest in places Koole and others like Minto and Blair Lakes for now, for pike fishing. I would like to know the best ways to get there and are there shortcuts ??? like to Blair lakes from somewhere down closer to Midway or Harding areas.

I know there are excellent lakes off the Denali Hwy for lakers and other species and many other lake areas that are not so easily accessed.

I'm trying to get a gather info on how the action varies between a moderately fished lake vs. an occasionally fished lake, like maybe a few times in the season.

If there is anyone else who wants info on a particular lake that does not offer direct access off the road, this is the area for it.
