We'll see Dube, sounds like a challenge. Winner gets dinner and beer at the lodge I think. I am going to hit it hard this weekend. I will not quit until I get that 40"er. I might be sneaking over to CW next weekend to restock my whitefish supply. I have a couple new weapons to try on those elusive lakers. I will let you know if they produce.

I only fished for about 30 minutes the whole up there and that was this morning, no luck. we sure made alot of progress on the wall and ceiling. The three of us took an awesome ride thru the woods. Was a great weekend overall.

We got checked Saturday by trooper John, and we also got checked sunday by trooper Levi. Both are nice guys, but seriously I think I am going more remote to fish from now on.

I gave it a try to challenge the leaders in the tourney. Came up a little short with a burbot at 28" and a laker at 28". I still posted them.

You should all just be thankfull I'm not in the tourney. I'd hate to have to get on here and talk smack and make you all look bad when I catch the big one. Although I guess I would actually have to get out and fish for that to happen.

I would just like to thanks everyone for posting their opinions, reports and especially their humor. I would however to bring up the fact that no one has been participating lately.... therefor you are either fishing an area so remote that there is no access or you are SLACKERS!

The riding is acutally pretty good in big lake right now or you could hit deshka landing and head to the yetna I hear its good riding up that way. Or hit flat horn or figure eight or trapper is gonna be nice all weekend we may head to sucker lake and do an overnighter on Saterday night if the poker game gets called off...Anyone play poker here? We have a Semi-friendly game at our place on Saturday nights if anyone is interested usually have 2 tables going...Im on the north end of town...

Ill tape it alright but it may be used for evidence against me when they find you with your head stuck in the hole..

no worries mike as long as your cabin isnt there to work on you MIGHT actually get in some fishing time...lol Eathen is up there now super nice there he said..oh yeah there catching too.

Gotta get the cabin at least livable. Father in law just had a kidney removed and wants to spend some time at the lake this summer. Got a lot done last weekend.

I still have the other side to put up, 2 walls, texture, flooring, electrical plus lots of trim and Minwaxing.

Shack is already started. Got the skiis cut the other day. Ripping 2X for studs. Looking for a sheet of aluminum or thin sheet metal for the roof. I want to be able to pull it with just about any snowmachine. 5 X 8 or so.

I make time when I can to fish. There are a couple places that need holes drilled.

Still need to scout out a Tier I caribou/moose spot too.
