I'm still trying to find them. For some reason I just cannot find them throught the ice until late ice before spawning. The lake drops to 92 foot bowl but every where I look on the lake No luck!

Keep looking, this evening they were 6' to 25' for us, pretty scattered...we are in clear water, with very little structure...the fish are chasing the feed...we just keep moving till we find em, fish em till we need to move again, zig and zag from shoal water to the depths, and back again...works like a charm...

Flasher isn't essential but sure does speed up the running and gunning. I won't do it without one. Depends on the lake but come across most at the depth of the deepest weedline on/near the drop over 20' - 40' flats.

A flasher is a must! Callies can be anywhere in the water column and it will save you a lot of time and frustration!
I will NEVER fish without my LX-5! Period!

I don't use a finder unless I am deep... the fish were in twelve to fifteen feet tonight, wouldn't bite unless you were cranking on the jig...the wife and I nailed over a hundred craps, and probably two hundred white perch in the last hour or so before dark..would still be there, but have to keep on cutting...
