Any word on this place?  What about ice thickness and if you can drive on.

I'm going to check it out next weekend when it's supposed to warm up. Any tips?

Haven't been this year, but this time last year there was just about two feet of ice. The road in from Atton's is usually well travelled, so if you're driving a 4x4 it should be no problem, I saw a sedan and minivan on the lake last year.

As for the fishing, its very hit and miss, I've gone a half dozen times and have found the perch a couple of times with complete skunks the others. No sign of the walleye in the winter, despite hearing that they bite ok in the summer. Be prepared to keep moving till you find them. There'll be a few of the local's shacks over top of a deep hole (60-70 feet of water), but I've never had luck there. As with most perch/walleye lakes, it's best at sunrise and sunset.

Oh, and if you haven't fished it before, check the bathymetric map, there's a lot of shallows near sharp drops. You can be in 20 feet of water then walk 10 feet over and drill into mud/sand and ruin your auger blades in a hurry.

Roads fine, fishing was sub par.  4 bites in an hour and a half but the kids and wife came so I was busy working and didn't get to fish too long, oh well the kids got to share in a good experience.  Was a few shacks on and a couple sleds and trucks.

Any recent reports on Bushy? Thinking of heading out Monday or Tuesday. Just curious on the condition of road going in.

Has anyone been out here this winter? It’s been a few years since I’ve ventured this way.
