  Two days of rain and I found more ice than last week! Glare ice with no snow cover. Went to Patridge Lake with intent of whistling out a four inch thick chunk near the boat access. Ice was thick and solid and I gave up. More ice to form tonight before a little rain on Sunday. I plan to get out my creepers and catch some perch the next calm sunny day

I was hoping to hear that the rain would eventually help our ice situation, but I did not expect to hear about it so quick! Great news Dick, good luck with the perch haul!
