If you consider it a sport to gather your food by drilling through 36 inches of ice and sitting there all day hoping that the food will swim by, you might live in northern New York

I think it was 9lbs plus.  Conditions were horrifiic.  Unbelievable amount of water and slush!  But, those diehards still seemed to have a good time.  THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO PUT FORTH THE EFFORT TO COME TO THE DERBY AND SUPPORT THE TUPPER LAKE ROD & GUN CLUB.  It is very appreciated!

I left my swim suit home. Wish I took it!

The ATV was in the shop and I was !@$#^% off about that, until I got there. My quad has tracks on it. It would have been a terrible mess, throwing water everywhere. I would have really gotten a lot of people mad if I had used it, giving everybody a shower. And the trip home would have been a lot worse than it was, pulling a trailer. Just as we were leaving, it started snowing. By the time I got to I-87, conditions were horrible. It normally takes me 2.5 hours one way. In the storm, it took me 5 hours to get home. Yet, CAN"T WAIT for this year!

I don't know for certain, but if they stay true to form, it should be Feb. 4, first Sat. in Feb., as they have for the past many years.
