When's the train headed up to Maine?
Can you pick me up on the way through? ;D
Might get a couple extra weeks ice time!

By the way Ice Ice, we'll not discuss the "Honey Hole", but I'm pretty sure we share it. I was testing some Oak Leaf Grub flies that I tied when I was out the other day. Still some work to do on them, but I think they'll work. ;) The sunnies were pounding them.

Another good place to go is Lake Pleasant, you can fish there alot earlier than LG and perch seem to be bigger on the aveage.

Adding to the arsenal are we RG  ;D It just seems we can never have enough.I found some ice flies made by Cortland last year that resembled a sm. oaky and have caught some respectable fish on them. You can find them online but my guess is that  you already have them in a spot in the corner of your jig box. ::)                                                                FISH HARD

I'm going to have some lead eyed versions for this Saturday's try. I'll put up a pic if they work.

I have to disagree.  LG produces much better fish quantity and size.  I am even partial to lake pleasant or sacandaga because I have a camp there and its closer for me.  LG is the king for a reason.

There ain't no perch in the king!

 :oI
I hear what your saying about the perch being hot and cold RG. I had a cove where you could limit out with a just a bare pimple !
(Image removed from quote.)
Then someone got the bright idea to use defoliant in the cove to control the Milfoil and it turned this fishery into a algae bloom choked cesspool !  >:(  :%$#!:
I want to fish with you !!!!!     :o :o :o

Braddocks Bay, when the waters high enough for the fish to get in the bay, or I bay.
