Vintage traps I found at a flea Market in Putnam Ct. Paid a buck apiece. Will post refurb pics once completed.

Completed with Maple Body for the upright stained with Dark stain and poly stayed true to the flag proportions. Didn't fish them this season, or I would have grabbed some shots in the field. Did 4 have another 4 to complete. I like to fish a 4 trap/1 jig setup most days.

Looks nice RIM. I take it those are tip downs? Never tried tip downs but watched others slay perch.

Yeah they are pretty old school but kind of what I'm used to fishing in Maine as a kid. Chop your hole then pile the slush and let if freeze arounf the base at a 45% angle and you are off. Mainly caught Pickerel on the old homemade style. Basically a 45 degree angle cut in some strapping with a cheap hardware hinge. Flag and line set up the same as on the traps I re-did. I take some pics and post them of the homemade ones.
