any one use al's goldfish to jig with i just got a bunch from my uncle. didn't know how they would work

I've had good luck with the copper one, making it flutter in the Farmington River for trout during the fall. I'd imagine it would be a good jiggin lure. Nothin beats the Swedish Pimple though.

i just got a box with 15 lures in it 17 were al's goldfish 2 sizes and 3 colors' some have colored spots on them too

Try tipping them with the head of a shiner. I've watched video of it being done with phebes

I had a goldfish, and managed to lose it snagged on something within a few casts before I could catch anything on it.  :-\  Been meaning to buy a couple new ones....

Phoebes are awesome though, metallic perch was my favorite during open water. Managed to lose that one too.  :whistle:

I,ve had good luck also , but almost always tipped with what i have available does make a difference . also phoebe tipped is one of my go to baits

i've got tons of jigs, colors, sizes, pimples, lindy everything, kastmasters, small jigs but i am just learning how to fish them all. hope to be pulling fish out with them all this year
