My 18 year old son is one of the reasons that I am into things again. Was getting tired of going out alone now he is with me most of the time. He turned out to be a pretty good fisherman and a heck of a recurve shooter. He is also a darn good companion. Here he is with this years deer.

and a recent pike

Both my sons love to fish, 19 and 15, just hard to get them out with both of them in sports and the other in collage.  I did start the grandson, ice fishing this year, 9 years old, here is a pic of his first fish through the ice

and a nice crappie he caught this summer

My daughters only 2, and loves to "help" me clean fish, I'll get her out on the ice next year. also managed to get a kid out this season who's dad is deployed in iraq, he had a great time. I can't wait to take him for the youth turkey hunting weekend in april. we should all adopt a soldiers kid for some outdoors stuff, and take pictures to email to dad, couldn't send him a better present.

I just turned 29.  I have 5 good "older" friends who love to fish.  But they do not come out fishing when I tell them about it.  You older folks are geting a bit lazier than you should be.  I have had to resort to younger fishing partners to get any sort of consitant ice fishing partner.  All I hear from the old timers is"it still isn't as good as it used to be".  Well I am telling you old timers right now.....MY GOOD OLD DAYS ARE RIGHT NOW.  AND I HAVE QUITE A FEW GOOD OLD DAYS LEFT ALSO!  You can't live on past glory.  And last years stories don't put fillets on this year's platter.
Bullet with a name on it.

My son started ice fishing with me when he was 8 or 9 yrs old, now he is married with two kids, boy 12 and girl 6, My son still fishes with me and the two grand kids go every chance they can, little girl loves to pull all the fish in and never tires. 12 yr. old boy gets a little bored and just sets back and reads a book. we go every chance we can with his work schedule now that I,m retired

me and my buddies built an 8x6 ice shack in shop class (thanks to our badass teacher) and took it out to a big lake for the season here in wisconsin.  we are seniors in highschool.  we were out there just about every weekend from end of december to beginning of march and didnt see another young group of kids the whole season, and if any of you know lake mendota in madison wisconsin, you know that it is always crowded (to put it lightly).

It's alot of work to take kids ice fishing. But worth it. Now I have to wait a couple years for my boys to get out of the "rut" mindset and hope they want to go fishing when they settle down.
