I remember taking my nephews out when they were that young.....they have yet to venture out with their little ones yet but I planted the seed....maybe someday.

Heres a little golden shiner caught from absaraca. first one i have ever cuaght had no idea what it was when i caught it.

I caught one out of there last year and had no clue what the damn thing was until I got home and researched it! Planted it under one of the wifes roses which really took off!

Golden shiners as fertilizer hmm i will have to try it see if my tulips take off haha. I know in nebraska alot of people use them as bait but i dont know the regs here in wyoming. They are cool lookin little fish though.

That might be a goldeye, I heard they were in there from a friend. Anyway nice catch.

Caught two of them in a row at Sloans one night this season, and assumed they were golden shiners.

No problem. I have actually had quite a few of my pics used on peoples computers all over the country, some have even been used in magazines. I have the full version I can email you if you would like. The one on here is downsized. I will post more as well. Interestingly most of my pics are taken with my phone. There are nice cameras in phones these days!!

yeah 3 from our group left a bit early and took the other 35 with them and left me and trog behind to scrape up our limit the last 6 or so were a little tough to ice bite slowed way down. Nice bucketmouth!
