I'm heading up there in about an hour and was just looking for info myself! My father in law said there isn't much snow but had no fishing or ice reports (not a fisherman). Taking my 3 year old son for the first time so hopefully we'll find at least a couple. Should be fun anyway.  :)

So my trip didn't exactly go as planned. We ended up walking on and didn't get to any of the spots that I wanted fish. Then my auger leg fell down the hole by noon! So we were pretty much stuck in the first spot we tried (had a manual but that's a pain in the ass). Saw lots of bait fish on the sonar but not many big marks. Didn't catch anything. My son was a natural though and had lots of fun jigging and reeling in his bait.
