I supposedly bought a CLAM from Reed's last week, but I didn't hear from them yet for shipping charges, they do have a sale, but I think something is wrong...no email from them....time to send an email I guess.

Not a lot of ice season left.  I'd keep checking and calling.  Can get one on ebay no problem.  I'm already thinking about my boat, March will go fast and April it will be on the water.  I bought my Shanty in January and Gander was already sold out of the popular ones.  They wouldn't sell the floor models because they don't own them.  Good luck to your buddy.

FISH 307...I ordered my Clam base camp thermal on a Saturday...it was here on Tuesday....used it Wednesday. Support the sponsors.
I called every Gander and Dicks within 100miles of my house....nobody had anything (as you know) and that was two weeks ago.
Hope this helps.

Support the little guy. HE will take care of you and not some corporate company. You may pay a little more for an item but he will stand behind it and remember you down the road for future sales. The choice is yours. Good Luck.......

I bought boots from them in the beginning of the season.  3 weeks later I called them and asked what was up with my order.  They told me the item was back ordered.

Not sure about your area, but I actually seen some decent HT popup ones in Sports Authority in the Denver area yesterday.  I know there in some parts of the Northeast and coldfooters will barely hit that store...

Good luck.

At this point I would wait until next year to see if any new improved models come out.  Just my opinion.

B&E tackle in Ontario, NY has a few clams left, along with some ht popups.  Actually they have two of the best singles, the clam scout and clam pro. They are both older models, but much better than the Kenai, which B&E also has.  Good luck.
