Keaeney area
« on: Dec 26, 2016, 09:04 AM »
I am heading to Kearney Thursday for a holiday basketball tournament. I am going to have some free time to fish. Does anybody have any reports on ice thickness? Where to fish, any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, clam man.  By the way, Clam man turned Otter.

It's a long time to Thursday!  I would be concerned about getting on and OFF the ice TODAY and even if the lake ice holds, getting on it will be a day-to-day concern.

Love my Otter, too!

My daughter and I fished Fort Kearney yesterday.  We fished on lake one and there was 5 1/2 inches, the lake was fine but the edges are getting really weak.  There are some high temps coming our way this week it could be a really big mess.  Be careful.
Stay frosty.

Just curious, did you fish the east side of the bridge or the west side?  We fished the west side, close to center in 5 ~ 18 fow and could not ice a fish!  So, we moved to Lake 4 and ended up at Lake 6.
