Safe ice

Does any one have any leads on any lakes around Omaha that will be thick enough and are all locked up for this weekend because this wind is really stoping us from tearing up the ice this weekend thanks in advance if any one has any tips  :tipup: :)
I'm not brightest tool in the shed my ice auger is

went by summit with the axe and there was a solid 4 in the boat bay. BE SAFE TRAVEL WITH SAFTEY GEAR

yes but as the wind died down you could see it freezing up all boat bay was locked and there were some good size sheets on main lake maybe first part of next week on main lake but should be safe in boat bay if we don't get a bunch of snow. Also went by fremont  state lakes and some open lakes and some locked up sketchy at best. Wanahoo is completely open

Just punched holes at the Fremont State Lakes on Lake number two only went out about 5 yards from the bank but had a consistent 4 inches of ice

thanks for the info stopped out at Cunningham tonight looks the parts that are frozen might be safe enough like overe by the boat ramp probly going to go test the ice tomorrow will let every one know what the ice is like  :tipup:

Had 4 inches of good ice last night on the southeast corner of birdwood/ fire lake in north Platte went to Maloney last night at the outlet only about 1 to 2 inches be careful cause it looks thicker than it is

Went to Cunningham today  the ice it was 5-6 inches out from the boat ramp and people were fishing back by the campground by the creek soo there is plenty of ice it on now  :tipup:
