Who's going where this week?

Am i gonna run into anyone this week?

Zorinsky tonight.

Wherspann Tues.

Thurs one of the two if work doesn't hold me back? 

The weekend is too far out to figure out yet?

Just did standing bear Saturday...  7 hours... not one trout.  I drilled twenty plus holes, and fished my butt off.  Sunday was Wherspann and four nice gills, nothing over 10 on crappies!!!  I'm going thursday, don't know where, but would love to learn some diffeent areas.

Working until 5:30 is limiting my ice fishing, only ice fished once in the dark, and had zero bites!  I'll probably try Prairie View on Saturday, and go from there for Sunday.

I am heading out west but not taking my ice gear.  I will take my spinning rod and heading to Lake Ogallala in search of a 5lb bow.

How is Ogallala doing on walleye? My fishing buddy knocked the living daylights out of 'em there during the late summer Lindy rigging (limited out 3/3 days when pushed off Big Mac by the wind).

Wow.  Was dead calm just before I got off work, got to the lake at 5:30 and the wind was crazy.  Set up kinda close to 3 other huts, wanted part of that snow patch, easy 30 mph.  One guy pops out of his hut and asks 'you gonna be able to get that up in this wind.'  :o  Got her up fine with an anchor, but the hut was getting hammered hard.  Everyone bolted soon after I arrived. 

Seems there has been more wind this year??? 

Fishin was sort of slow, alot of fish, not a lot of action.  Baitfish everywhere.  No dinks though, 4 crappie and all were nice.  Had to leave early, and caught three of them in the last 10 min, go figure.  Guy i knew out there said they were catching them here and there, but standard 9 inchers only. 

Until tomorrow.............. ....

Winter games this weekend in Boji.  More rig runnin than fishin I think.  I really want to sneak out for a few hours and try to get some perch up on Spirit but the wife might have other plans. 

Lots of season left....I've only got in 18 days of ice fishing this year....LOL.

fished the bear yesterday not even a bite got side job this week but they don't call me until last minute so it's kinda hard to plan anything maybe weherspan sometime this week if i don't have to work

Will try Summit Saturday. if no luck there, it will probably be Standing Bear the rest of the weekend. Tried Desoto last weekend with not much luck.

Have you tried any other areas on the lake, or just the side I fished with you last week????  I wonder if another side of the lake would be better?

We are going to Iowa this weekend. We will fish Lake of 3 Fires on Friday, 3 Mile and 12 Mile on Saturday and Sunday. We'll probably try some other lakes to. Come on out and join us.

Yeah, didn't see you either.  Were you with the big group and all the kids.  After you guys left I mentioned to someone you were out there and he said he thought you were in that group???  It was dark when I got out there, so I was wandering around looking people at first.  I so we would have been the group of three lantern fishing to your northwest, no too far away.  Did you guys have any luck?  Aside from the usual dink crappie, I pulled this little 19er.  Dinner time.

Yes, we were the loud group with the kids, (bringing the family can be a little bit of a pain sometimes).  I did see you guys then.  Just the usual luck, a few small crappie and gills.  I want to get me one of those 'eyes though.  I'm sure I'll catch you out there again one of these days.  I'm always looking for people to go with too, so let me know when you will be out.  Nice fish by the way.
