Is the ice ready?

Just wondering if anyone knows how think the ice is on the red river.  Was thinking of trying CIL road this weekend but worry about the current.
How about the lake?  Anyone been to balsam yet? Is the ice in and how thick?

Lots of ice on the river near eom, walk out 6-8inches

CIL had 9" under the power lines on Sunday. Balsom do have people walking a couple hundred years out but I didn't see any posts on how thick the ice is.
