Now that you showed us the famous "Slurple Jig", what are the chances we get to see the 2008-09 version before season starts? And have you come up with a name yet? I know a few other guys on this site that make awesome homemaders, but I will leave it up to them to let the cat out of the bag. If anybody else has a secret jig (homemade), feel free to share

, by all means just because you show us rookies, doesn't mean we could make it ourselves anyway...lol.

Last years Mighty Slurple. It took a lot poking but we finally got to see it.

There were a few Slurples at Summit B & T but I bought most of them Sunday.

Sure, $10 ea sounds good!!! I've never seen them for sale before until Sunday. So I'd go to Summit B & T or talk to the guy that makes the originals= Jigginstick.I'm sure he would sell them for $10 ea, although I can't speak for him???Good luck and see ya all on the ice soon!!!

Myself and Jigginstick have discussed this matter awhile back,Im sure we'll come up with a name soon,we just gotta wait on the ice to see which color is gonna be hot

,that was a good topic last year,had alot of people in suspense.......People still come up to me and say hey can I actually see one of them "SLURPLE" JIGS.........LOL...... Lookin forward to everyones pictures and posts this year,good luck and be safe,

so does anyone have an answer to why the "hot" color changes from year to year on the same bodies of water. I fish N channel alot and 2 yrs ago a "slurpleish" color was the goto bait! last year it was dead and a green/chartruese was the go to..i could go on and on and list the colors over the years.
water color is always gin clear and i'm sure the "forage" isn't changing colors! As the seaon goes on i'm sure they get conditioned but ....what gives
