16" yellow
« on: Mar 25, 2020, 07:12 AM »
It's been crazy at work so I am just getting around to posting this. Here is a 16" plus yellow I jigged up while on my vaca in NH. I would guess around 2 1/2lbs as she was similar in size to the smallies I was catching. New state record? Most likely but she swims to see another day. A great way to end my season. I appreciate everyone's input to making my trip safe and fun so thank you all!

Yessa! I know the one I got early in the year was longer than the record but a few ounces shy so it doesn’t count. Congrats!

Thanks everyone. Vaca was full of exploring new places and looking for good ice with decent edges. I never did actually get onto a school of whites even while fishing 5 days in a row but I was able to pick a few out that were cruising by. Tons of lakers, yellow perch, pumpkinseeds, and smallmouth bass. Even a few rock bass. All in all a great adventure one way or another. Ice gear is away and I have been chasing bass and will continue to do so until the tautog are in.
