Can folks park in the church parking lot and walk onto the ice from there? <--- please disregard.  Found answer after searching.  Confirm that folks can park in the lot.  Thanks.

I haven't fished that part of the lake in a few years but we had some good days over there. Plenty of cribs and Christmas trees.

Haven't fished there in a few years but did catch a bunch of small crappies and one small walleye.  Last time I was there idiots left a ton of garbage on the ice.  Cans, propane bottle, bait cartons it was an absolute mess, garbage was absolutely everywhere.  I loaded up a few Walmart bags full of trash to take home.

Hey where not all slobs.  You'd never know I was on the ice, same as the woods. I always leave it better than I found it. There's always some Yahoo's. Go fish L. Chautauqua in N.Y. if you want to see litter.

Deff not all just some. Most love what we do and the beauty it has to offer others just use the land for the pleasure and then leave it for the next guy to clean. I love pa woods and water but not the love for the slobs or the commissions

I'm really surprised that Muddycreek only has 5".  It was supposedly 4" before 3 days of single digits and low teens.

The wind and snow have not helped. I'd imagine some of the snow will melt, and then firm up this week. But, there will still be some iffy stuff. Just not a good year for consistent ice.

Thanks for the update. I'll probably hit MC with some creek chubs Thursday morning to see if I can't get some pike or bass.

Good luck fish
What are you going to do,just stand there and worry about it? IF that's the card you're dealt that's the card you play.Just pick up the slack and keep on going.

I fished 4 maples at night a few times last year and did ok. Lots of crappies, but most were very small. Almost all on minnows.

I'm not sure four maples has any good ice. Be careful wherever you might roam.

It's butt puckering ice.  Especially by yourself, and that was before all this snow.  A measured 2 3/4 ice give or take a tiny hair, and like said that was before the snow.

Gonna fish muddy creek area with my dad tomorrow! Going down to 8 degrees tonight should make for a solid last day of ice fishing for the season. :-\
