Dude did you really say that!!!I got the best wife in the world!! I Ice fished every weekend there was ice last year!!! I only saw you 2 times and one was for about 3 hours! oh and by the way she cleans my fish and butchered both my deer this year!! Tell us that story about how your wife watched you load your truck the night before with all your gear than left you a note on the coffee pot saying you cant go! HAHAHAA Best one ever!!! Hopefully I can help you cut that ball and chain off your leg and get you on the ICE!

From tomorrow through Wednesday the highest it's supposed to get is 36 and the coldest is 6, then from Wednesday though Saturday the warmest is supposed to be 38 and the coldest of 21. That will definitely make some ice. As others and I have said before it's coming, just going to be late.

It sure is coming with the cold temps, going to be four degrees for the low near one of my fishing spots on Monday, that will sure put on some ice.

My prediction is we are going to see some hard water fishing pictures around the 16th. Should be good ice on some small lakes and ponds. I was past a small pond today and it had a good inch in the middle. This was in forest county. Maybe im just hopeful! LOL!

must be on some obscure mountain lake cause weather forecast around here next 3 days in mid to high forties with ample rain to screw up any ice that has been built.Cold next week but again rain shouls mess things up and it will have to start all over again.

some buddies of mine were on ice for the last couple days. and yup, it was an obscure mountain lake. Aren't they the best ones? The deeper lakes are going to take some time but smaller lakes and ponds are building ice. We are at that point when you want to be real careful. My buddies were on 4" of black ice, but I've heard of guys venturing onto 2" of ice. As far as I'm concerned, unless you are on very shallow water, 2" ain't enough. Many of the bigger lakes have an inch or 2 and many are capped over. This rain we are gonna get should do a little damage but then it's going to freeze right back up and it ill be game time!

Ice Wagon, I replied to your prediction not to long ago. We live on opposite ends of the state. I said then and I say now you just might be "dead right". We're still waiting for some seriously fishable ice here in SE and NE Pa,. Winter is not over yet, we'll see.

The season is finally starting here in Northeastern Pa, guys have been fishing places since Wednesday. I got out today for a while, and there were twenty other guys where I was at.

All I know is it's 54* right now and raining here in central PA .Can't do what little ice we have any good .
