I get a sense that MISERY BAY just isn't the place to be this year ? I am about to make my one yearly trip there. Is it the waste of time that I am sensing? Reading about Lake arthur, but have never fished there. Would that be a waste for a first timer there ? THANKS in ADVANCE !!!

Is it legal/okay to pull your ice fishing gear, sled, pop up shanty, etc., out to fishing spot with a snowmobile ?

It's legal from the city of Erie side of the bay but you can't be with in 500' for PI.

ice is very thick so bring a gas auger or make sure your blades are sharp.   2 trips to misery this year and not much to show for it.  You never know if you don't go,  though (that rhymes) ;D

Fished misery  today from 7:30 till 1:30  ice was over 2 feet  lot of snow...hard drag...moved 3 times. Marked fish with saw fish with cam.   8 keepers.....4 bass. And 1 of the perch went 14. 1/2 ins. Wish I knew how to post picture....wind was. Bad  was warm in clam.....hopping. For better luck next time...
Bad ice is bad for your health....walk with care....
