Christmas morning waiting for the kids to come. I sat down at my fly tying bench and came up with this. Will they work?

my .02 worth. give 'em a try. they probably will. just like turkey calls. anything will work sometimes, but nothing works every time. thats why it's called fishin instead of catchin.

Fiddled with it using jig hooks for the horizontal look a long time ago. They worked very well. Playing with the lead wire to balance them wasn't too bad. Made wooly buggers and hares ears for the most part.

Tipped with a single maggot they should be killer. Guaranteed fish I would say. Perch and crappies should love them too.

I don't think they will work at all so just stick them in the mail and send them to me so you don't waste your time trying them.

You bet they will. I fish a fly similar to those above my hali and they really like it. Tip it with a spike or other maggot and you'll be all set. Get the filet knife ready
