what scent do they like??

what scent or liquid do u put on ur bait to attract bluegill? i heard w-d 40 works good. i use garlic oil and it usually works pretty good

I'm with Townie, I usually use Berkly Crappie Attractant for all my pan fish needs. The bottle is way too big for me, so I took a travel size shampoo bottle, dumped the contents into another container, and filled it with the scent. Now it will fit in one of my pockets, and won't be frozen for the eve. bite.

Stuff freezes up quick! Always forget to defrost it. A few drops into the hole shallow water will draw 'em in...

For bluegills and crappies I would give Smelly Jelly....Anice Scent a try,works good for me.Bass Bull

gotta agree, I love Berkley...soak hide bait in it in the freezer, through jar in pocket, and stays pliable enough to fish all day in all weather...

I once was talking with an old native man and he had some huge northern pike, when i asked him what he was using he old me smelt, but the trick is to spray some wd-40 on them.  Not sure if he was that good or if the wd actually worked.  I have never tried it>
