fish trap registration

Im Starting in the up and coming NAIFC tourney series ,was wondering if Michigan DNR requires shanty(fish trap) registration and if so a point in the right dir. would be greatly appreciated.

If you have any further questions go to http://www.michigan.gov/dnr click on fishing and they have fishing regulations there.
