I'm sure it does, Perch seem to be the big ticket, but I haven't seen any reports yet.

Gottaflag,
You dont have to leave at all, there is some good ice in Jackson county, and Washtenaw county.  My brother fished vineyard 2 days ago and said there was plenty of ice to make him feel comfortable.  I was on North Lake last night as well 5".  But if you got the itch to go north try fletchers flood waters, might be a bit more than 2 hours but deffinatly worth it.

I was thinking about trying Fletchers myself over Christmas. I have never ice fished there yet. I go there once every summer and do well on pike and bass. I know where to catch them in the summer. The same area is probably good in the winter.

I have been to Houghton once last year. Caught 14 pike. But only a couple were keepers. Most were 1 to 2 inches short. I did see few few larger ones caught. Also saw a couple of walleye caught. I would go there again sometime.

There are good places in Hillsdale right now with good ice for pike and blue gil.
