Shanty Gone Under

My buddie swampbuckster almost lost his shanty last night. the strong wind from this weekend made his hole 10 by 10 FOOT. a bunch of us went out there to rescue it. theshanty was 40% under water, and we had to use a come-a-long to get the dang thing out.

We ended  up spudding a hole through the ice, wrapped a chain around a 4x4 and then placed the 4x4 through the hole and attached the come along to the other end. The Bacon Shack had a close call! Thank god she didn't go under, I would of had to go to counseling for the next 5 years.

Glad no one got hurt. I was out there fishing with dan on saturday night It will take  couple days to lock back
