now that they have pulled all the bodies out of the lake its unlike the fish have any food :)

I have only ever caught a few small panfish......we had a derby there last year or 2 years ago and only 6 fish were caught by the entire group of about 40 ppl over 4 hours. 1 decent pike and the rest was small pannies....

For bluegill and perch, I think Cranberry is a waste of time.

Fished that lake several times last winter and other than
tapping into a nice school late one afternoon/early evening,
felt most days were a success if I would get a single nibble.

Not bad for crappie after dark, but the past couple of
years have been really slow for bluegill and perch.  I
think guys do ok in the summer, so maybe first ice will
be ok, but like I said, the past couple of years have
really seemed to be slow on that lake.

My brother lives near that lake, so I am sure I will waste
more time out there this winter, but really think it is time
for me to find a new lake.

Just waiting for the ice - good luck this winter!

I killed the crappies out there during the summer with a buddy twice we caught limits. We fished there last winter and didnt touch anything. Who knows what the deal is...

I only fished cranberry once, not gonna lie, we slammed the gills... We dont keep little guys either... FIshed it toward the end of the year and never made it back out there.  You aint to far away frozen toes, we should get together and fish this winter.  I'll show ya a couple of my honeys holes around home here.  Im almost into Allegan county on 32nd sound of forest grove.

Cranberry is one of my favorite lakes especially for crappie. If you can stay on top of the fish it can be really good.
