Looking for some suggestions

Good Morning All, I was wondering how the current ice conditions were down near hamden. And if anyone would be willing to steer me in the right direction of decent bodies of water. My Girl Friend lives near there and wants to go out saturday. I am unfamiliar with CT waters as I am a resident of New Hampshire. I'm not looking for spots just some insight. I would like to target Pike. Brown Trout. And Lakers.
Thanks in Advance Tight Lines.

Only public place in hamden is lake wintergreen, bass and maybe some stocked cats, but they get fished pretty hard during open water, I would say go to weathrsfield cove if its open, you could pull damn near anything out of there
