Porter County Conservation Club will be awarding two scholarships to assist worthy young men and women in pursuing their education at approved institutions of higher learning in one of the environmental disciplines, such as fisheries, forestry, ecology, wildlife management or environmental resource management. Applicants must be a Northwest Indiana high school senior or a current student at a University that has previously graduated from a Northwest Indiana high school pursuing a career in a field related to natural resources conservation with a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 (4.0 scale) or higher.
Completed Scholarship applications must be emailed to
[email protected] by the end of the day on May 17, 2013. Scholarships will be awarded at our FREE “Take a Kid Fishing” event in June 22, 2013 which is open to the public where any kid can come and fish one of our privately stocked ponds, Free food and free prizes.
