hit hattie for a few hrs today while i had the chance and hooked this little guy. another nice rainbow hattie produced, and he swims for another day!

Nice bow glad to here he is still in the water. Has anyone found the perch. I sure would like to have a mess for the new year.

Nice fish slayer. Have you happened to see any lake trout or bowns? The perch seem to be fishing better, man are they tasty this year nice and plump. Great pics.

i havent seen any lakers or browns so far this year and you are right about the perch. i have found some pigs this year but i havent really got into a big school yet, a dozen was the most i pulled out of one school. but there is no shortage of big rainbows this year. there sure are a blast on 2lb test. when are you goin to be out again wyowind?

My son and I fished Hattie this morning. Although we did not fish where we wanted to we still caught a few fish. We caught a nice bow about 20" and this gnarly salmon. The pictures are a little fuzzy due to not breaking the camera out until the last second.

That is a wonderful fish. You don't see many salmon being caught in Wyoming. I love that hook jaw.

Sorry I missed you slayer, was out today, weather was great till about 11 then the ground blizzard started. Did manage 3 nice perch, 3 rainbows, and a koke. Wonder what the deal with the perch is not seeing any schools, just singles, any ideas?

no worries man. i was out till noon and got 3 perch aswell but that was it. i dont know what the deal is. must not be hitting the right pockets i guess. i think they will turn on eventually. what was the size on your bows and koke?

did not put a tape to them but here is one of the bows, they were all about this size. Did see one other that dwarfed these. sorry the pic sucks, took with a phone

Comming over from cheyenne on new years day to fish hattie. I have always made ham and beans for new years. will bring some out on the ice if anyone would care to partake. will have a red shack. and a radio on chanel 7 give a shout.

Hey gulp, I'll be there too on New Year's day. Can't start the year off better than a trip to Hattie, it will be my first this winter also. I'll be driving a green 71 Chevy truck and sitting on a bucket.
