Frost on the roof of my shop today!!!! Fall is in the air and soon very soon it will be FISH ON !!! Tip ups and jigs down baby !!! But for now elk camp will have to hold me over. Looking forward to it already!

I might have to take a trip out to Wyoming to experience some early ice action. 80's in Jersey still. Should have good ice by the last week of Dec.

It's colder this morning in Gillette than it was two nights ago in the Bighorns! Howdy fellers! Glad to see the Wyo Board is beginning to wake up from the Summer Slumbers!

It will be nice to have all of these reservoirs full this winter. I was talking to the manager of the Wheatland irrigation district the other day and he said the G&F stocked 2 million cuts in Wheatland #3. He also said that Hattie irr district had to let 25k acre feet out of Hattie because of problems with their check dam (or something like that). Hopefully it is still in good shape?

All of the No platte reservoirs are in good shape, Laramie river reservoirs too. The future is bright.

i too am excited that all of the N. Platte reservoirs have plenty of water in them (pretty much ALL of the reservoirs actually) Should be a great season! it was pretty cold out tonight comming home from work.

I just got back from elk camp on Wednesday, it was 80 degrees even at 11,000 feet in the Gros Ventre.

Saturday 30th. Green River water temperature; 45.1 was 39 a couple of days ago. The weather boat is going the wrong direction!

First post...been just browsing on here since last winter, but was up at Rob Roy today and there is snow up there and ice is starting to form! ...and I caught a brown! Still figuring stuff out around here so I was pretty stoked!

18 degrees in Greybull this morning. I drove to Sheridan and saw that Sibly Lake was completely iced over. When I came back across late in the afternoon, it had opened up some though.

Something better happen pretty soon. I catch myself playing with my ice fishing gear, tuning it up and getting it mission ready. If something don't happen pretty soon I will have it all worn out just by messing with it...

I'm with ya branded! i have re-aranged my tackle box probably 5 times and cleaned the auger 3 times. im gettn a real itchy "throttle finger" for that auger!

Spent the day out on the boat yesterday. I was wearing a short sleeve shirt and was sweating at one point. Not encouraging.

Sure.
Missed getting pics of some good fish, including one pig brown, but taking care of the fish was priority at the time. Wildlife abounded, weather was beautiful and the company was great.
