Ford’s Lake has 4 inches

Ford’s Pond, as most call it, (Newton/Glenburn Townships) has four inches of good ice now.  Checked about 20 feet off the boat launch.  Nobody fishing.  I’ll get out there and try my luck in the next few days.

Does anyone know if there are still muskies in fords? Says there are some tigers. Has anyone encountered one in the last few years?

Ford’s does get stocked with Muskies.  I’ve never caught one myself but have talked to a few guys who have caught Muskies in that lake.

I’m assuming you didn’t go due to the depth.  There might be someone here that fished for Muskies that can give you better information.  I’m mostly a bass and panfish guy.
