I live in SWPA (Greensburg) all of my friends are fair weather fisherman. Looking for some other ice fanatics to fish with due to the safety risks of ice fishing alone. I mostly fish for crappie, perch, and gills. This is my second year ice fishing and I am addicted.

Thank you all for your replays. I am hoping to get out on Thursday. If anyone is interested let me know. I am going to check some ice tomorrow and wed. I will post the conditions and were I am planing on fishing

I'm located in Latrobe, and always willing to have some company on the ice. Only really have one buddy who hits the ice regularly with me. Just ordered a Vex, hoping to get out later this week! Apparantly a few guys were out on Lower Twin Lake yesterday.

I drove past twin lakes yesterday, it was capped off but did not look like very much ice. Gonna check it tomorrow. It should be good. I netted some minnows this afternoon looking forward to putting them to good use.

I'm new to the site and also the area. I live in west mifflin. I'm headed up north Sunday morning. I'm in search of pretty much anything that bites. Anyone with any tips or anyone that wants to head out let me know. Ill weekends off for next month.

when are you able to fish? weekends or a day off during week?
we usually fish Glendale lake, lake Arthur, Whilhelm, Pymatuming and are willing to try new waters

I have Thursdays off and most weekends off. I have to work this weekend but then I am good until February.

Two of us from the north hills of pittsburgh have the serious ice fishing bug!! we're leaving next wednesday (15th) for our now annual trip -- fourth year -- second year for me (third for him) to Lake of the Woods in far north Minnesota. We both are quite interested in finding ice and fish here in PA -- not much luck the past few years. I spend alot of time between here and latrobe so I drive through your neck of the woods all the time.

me my son and a couple friends are going to be on Pyme off Tutle this Sunday. I have a Blue Viking pop up shanty, The boy has a Frabill. Need to order a IS Flag to fly! Hope the holds out!!
