people here sure talk wonders about them. i bought one approximately 2.5 inch green one and put it down into some lakers that would bite the normal offerings (spoons, rapalas, etc.), but they wouldn't take it. i've seen pics of lakers with them in their mouths after being caught, but must not have been using the right equipment or techniques. also they probably work better for other fish
