making your own ice rods

 ???Anybody know how or where I can go to get info and product on doing this.  I am interested in trying it out.  Thanks

There are plenty of suppliers and some can help fit you with a kit.  Drop me an email and I'll give you a bunch of web pages and some advice.  I build rods regularly as a hobby/business and am getting ready for the ice fishing season now.  I use several different blanks depending on various factors.  I'll do my best to steer you right and save you as much $ as possible.

its not for making traditional ice rods, but a good idea for using goodwill rods.
