Title: preliminary product review

just received 13 Fishing Descent Ice Reel - D2.7 that was on sale for 50% off, so, I paid $20 for it. I took it out of the package and, to me, it felt cheap. free spool seemed good but when turning the handle, felt like cheap workmanship. I have the Eagle Claw entry level straight line reel and it feels better.
Does anyone here have the 13 Fishing Descent Ice Reel - D2.7 and has actually used it and can provide a working opinion? TIA.  I know, you get what you pay for. I just expected more from 13 Fishing.

That cheap Eagle Claw is as smooth or smoother than most of my reels.

Happy with mine, the magnetic drag can be interesting for larger fish, but no problems with it!
