Mora 7" auger and clam plate. The clam plate makes every step of the process easier.

I have a 7" and 6" Mini Nero but you could get the Mora 7" with an adapter for about the same price. I also got a clam plate but haven't given it a work out yet. First trip out I only drilled 3 holes and found fish.

Krist the other day we drilled 25 holes b4 we found the spot. Then another 30-40.  Love these electric drill augers!

I just got lucky. Well I fished that lake before and the water level was about the same as last year. Walked out to where I thought I was at last year and popped a hole. Put the find in it and there they were. Fishing died off at 12 noon like it always does.

Here is an adapter to work with Moras or Strikemaster augers. Should also work for the Nero.

Strikemaster lazer 7 inch, I picked mine up on amazon for 80 dollars last year. I also picked up a strikemaster bit for cheap, i think it was 10-14 dollars  as well make sure you dont get the 1/2inch  bit get the 3/8th i believe?  I made that mistake an now have a useless 1/2inch auger bit.

K-drill makes one slightly larger than 7".
It must be something in the water.

I've been using this as a hand auger and on my IceGator for years. Just now put new blades on it this year.

I have a 6 in K-drill and I love it...If I need a bigger hole I just overlap one more cut on the original hole.
Keep those holes clean and smooth
