Marcum lx-5 storage

When you guys get done useing your flasher after each trip or outing do you charge it back to full and the. Disconnect the battery or do you leave the battery connected to the unit? Same question for the off season?

Charge it right after fishing. Store it in house. If I remember I charge it once through the summer. Battery been fine since new 4 yrs ago or so. I always disconnect the batt even though there is no draw on it. Just a habbit

Charge right away and dry off ducer and the pocket in goes in. I disconnect my batt since it has the digital meter.

All of the above ...just let the battery get to room temperature before charging .

Hooked up to a battery tender jr. I unhook it when i leave fornthe next trip.

I always let the battery warm up to room temp first, then charge it fully with the digital charger that came with it, then disconnect both terminals....for long term storage, I charge it every other month.

When I get home I let it warm up for about a hour and dry it off if need be.  Then charge it fully, put it back in the case, and ready to use the next time.  As for the off season I keep it in the case in a closet and charge it once a month.
