97 skidoo recoil

which way should the recoil on a 97 skidoo 380 touring turn, ya I should have marked it when I took it apart but too late now. thanks

With the recoil off and looking at the nut on the backside when you pull the cord it should turn counterclock wise

Thanks akj, I thought I put the spring in backwards, just wanted to make sure. Had to take it out and re-wrap it, very interesting. That won't happen again!
