What is the best rod - length, weight, etc.?
What is the best reel - open face, bait cast?
What is the best line - pound, type?
What jigs and bait? Got any pictures of your setup to share? Can't use live bait in Colorado.

Get an Ugly stick ice rod with a medium sized spinning reel.  Use 6 lb. flurocarbon with 1/16 oz. glow jig heads, no rubber body.  Thread 2 wax worms on the hook be sure the knot keeps the jig level.  Catch fish.
