Bowdish Lake - SUCCESS!!!

Got out this morning at 6 went up the lake pretty much dead center where I drilled some test holes earlier in the week. Reopened those and fished there until about 8 a.m. nothing... worked back to my other fishing holes from the other day and re-opened those (was down to 3 shiners). Next thing you know.. what I thought was a wind flag was spooling line, 12 inch Pickerel 1st fish  since I've been here! Reset that with one of the last shiners, about 40 minutes later -  16" Largemouth. What a way to break the "Curse of Bowdish". Thanks for all that have read my woes about all the skunks and the like over the years and Thanks for the support since the last post. Nice to know you can catch fish on this lake just takes time and perseverance I guess. I do have a pic of the largemouth, I'll try to get it posted.
