Seem to be fewer and fewer big browns, for sure. Wonder if it could have something to do with more silt and poor quality of water coming in? That could be affecting the trout spawn (predator population) and then also altering the macroinvertebrate abundance that the perch feed on. Double-whammy.
After they drained it in 2008 (wasn't it?) there was a huge fire upstream in 2012, which has messed with silt and runoff all these years.
I think perch can reach 10" in 6-7 years with good lake productivity, sooo...where are they? Some major stuff going on in that lake.
