I picked up a couple of the Vibrato Lures today. Are most of you using a snap to connect or tying it on with a Rapala Knot or other loop?
-
I use small snap swivel. Does great. You will love them.
-
Sebile vibrato? I use the same knot for everything which i probably shouldn't but whatever lol
-
snap on. which colors/size did you go with?
-
great lure. have most colors and sizes.
4 and 7 for my upland resovoir. sometimes 10 gram
pink, blue glow, all colors work though. don't overwork , lift then when you feel about 3-4 vibrations stop, rinse and repeat.
I use duo loc for everything, sometimes the smallest vmc crankbait snap.

Pretty limited selection. Wanted some 3/8 and 1/2 oz but biggest they had were 1/4. Got a couple each of Fire Tiger and Holo Greenie. One each of the Blue Glo Tiger and Ghost. I figured a loop knot might make for better wobble which seems to be the key but sounds like snaps work well and they make it easier to change out so hardware it is.

I tie an improved clinch direct.... The upjig wobble isnt even what im looking for its the downfall flutter

Older thread back to life...
I have been using Tactical Angler Power Clips for Ice and open water.
I even use the largest size when I am fishing offshore with my 11 oz Sebile Vibrato...

The 25lb works great with my "preditor" lures.

Do you all have any tips for jigging these?
-
Improved clinch, sometimes a loop knot. The action doesn’t seem to be effected by the improved clinch. Rip it hard up then let it flutter down to the bottom.

If I am not marking fish, big arm movements, then small twitches where you just start to feel the vibration, then little twitches in-between. Rinse and repeat. Hard and soft water.
