I know they are supposed to be good. I saw a Husky Auger in my local paper a while back and was going to buy it but the guy said the first caller came out and took it. It was a steal at $150 plus other fishing gear.

My son bought one last year and i would say that is what i would go with. They are pricy but if they are anything like their chainsaws should last a long time. it is not the fastest cutting auger but starts well, cuts nice and very light. He is going to try a 10 inch flighting on it for when we are fishing lakers and big pike.

Ive got one with a 10" and 8" flighting, works awesome and you'll only take it from me when you pry it from my cold dead hands.

While it doesent spin the fastest it still cuts hole just as fast as my buddies Z71s and 3hp jiffys but with far less effort. Keep them blades sharp and she will work good for ya.
