I generally do most of my fishing in and around northern Berkshire County, but thought I'd like a change of pace this weekend.
Could anyone point me to any lakes/ponds in southern Berkshire County (like Buel, Center Pond, Goose Pond) that still have fishable ice?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Consider the Erving/Warwick/Royalston areas, a few bodies of water are still iced over pretty good still. I am fishing tomorrow, not sure about the weekend.

Jim I checked a small pond in CT just south of the line and it was atill capped. Be nice if my favorite spot had ice still.

I'd stick to northern berkshire county. I'd bet those smaller ponds up on the mountain are the only ones with ice tight to shore.
I bet they are also covered in about 40 inches of snow. I think I'm calling it quits. I might go do some scouting Saturday afternoon. If nothing is safe out your way then I'm done for the year.

Lakers for me tomorrow. Going to try to link up with Mr. Bogtrotter Sunday. Hopefully in pike turf!

Jon let me know. I'm always game for some piking. Got some bait left that I need to get rid of.

It seems that pike, unless persued in open water is out of the question. Which is moot because usually right about now as they should be spawning.
