Looks like the edges and access is shrinking fast, good ice but some pressure ridges changing by the hour, good day on sat.   @)! captin bill

I'm glad you like our lake, it's hard for me to stay away from it. If it only had eyes in it it would be the perfect lake. ;D

Some one left this clam on the ice  off Pilot Knob Friday and it was still there today. Do not know what happened . I fixed the roof and used it this morning. That is $$$$ to be leaving out there. No one touched there stuff. Thank for the use of the holes.

I saw it there Thur. & Friday, if there is no name & address on it, I'd say it was abandoned, but who would do that.

2 wheelers went through the pressure crack off hearthstone,my buddy and 1 were able to rescue 1 but the first 1 that went in sunk to the bottom, the guy had no idea how much ice there was and for whatever reason he decided to drive to the wet area to try to cross the crack,he said when it went in he jumped off the machine and it floated there a bit before sinking,in the mean time his wife followed him into the crack just a few feet away, luckily her machine didn't sink and we were able to pull it out.less than 100' away the crack is fine and they would have had no issues in crossing.hope they get the other wheeler out and i'm glad the couple was ok

Well another access point is shut down due to inconsiderate idiots.  The kind gentleman at the end of lake road would like folks to know that when cation tape is up, it's all over for the season. However I won't be surprised if he shuts it down permanently.  He struggled to put 6x6s across his drive way around 7 this am. Only to have them thrown across HIS DRIVEWAY by noon.  He's especially upset that HIS SOD has been ruined.  I saw this coming two weeks ago and took the time to write this man a letter of appreciation.  Just maybee, he will see that not all people are inconsiderate morons.  I'm going to start an ice fishing club that recruits the finest of fisherman. Together our aim will be to secure access for us and our family. The rest of you can walk from the beach.  This guy was kind to me but warned anyone else cuts across, he will have you arrested for trespassing, maybee even property damage. Trying to inform people and also vent a bit cause I'm sick of idiots ruining points of access.
That sucks, I've accessed the lake there in the past & thought the owner was generous to allow people on his property. It's a shame that there are inconsiderate idiots that won't respect peoples property. >:(

More idiots! :cookoo: I'm glad they are alright but I don't feel sorry for them, loosing a wheeler to the bottom.
