Title: Talkeetna area ice fishing

I'm going to be spending a couple nights at a cabin in Talkeetna. We have access to snow machines and I was hoping to venture out to find some more remote lakes then what's on the road system. Anyone willing to give some information on lakes that way? Are there any lakes nearby with burbot or Lakers?

Ended up finding a lake to fish. Caught a burbot. Didn't really spend too much time out but it was fun.

Nice fish Vince, don’t see too many burbot coming from the Talkeetna area. You need to tell me exactly where you were at. I will go there this wknd.😆 kidding aside, Looks like a good day.

Haha, thanks spawner. I don't mind saying where in a private message if you'd like to know. I was hoping to catch a laker while we were out too but my flasher broke on the snow machine ride out. Lesson learned!
